High Profile Social Media Users – How Celebrities Share Video – Infographic

Whether you’re fascinated by the digital life of Joe Jonas or Joe Biden, we all love to follow some high-profile social media users.

Yet celebrities’ online presences come in all different shapes and sizes. The below infographic breaks down the video-sharing habits of 10 famous social media users into distinct patterns.

Basketball star LeBron James, for instance, almost exclusively shares videos from the sports world. In contrast, actress Alyssa Milano shares tech, comedy, science, sports and music videos in addition to the predictable genre, entertainment.

Conan O’Brian shares more than four videos each day on social media, yet only 18% of his picks go viral. Justin Bieber has the most success sharing videos that become viral — a full 66% of his shares spread widely across the web.

  1. this is very informative

  2. Nice. But, I really don’t care what video they watch and share.

  3. I really do not share any of the celebrities info.

I don’t follow any celebrities. I am more likely to follow my favorite brands. They tweet out coupons and samples that I can actually use, where as I don’t really need the latest gossip on Paris Hilton. Funny though – I see some of these same characteristics in some of my friends. It would be cool to see an ap that analyzes your twitter-feed and assigns you to one of these categories. I’m probably an IT girl like Alyssa Milano myself.

  5. I actually don’t follow any celebrities. I am more likely to follow my favorite brands. They tweet out coupons and samples or recipes – things that I can actually use. I really can’t use the latest gossip from Paris Hilton. However, LOL – I do see some of these traits in my tweeps – and I am probably like Alyssa Milano myself – the IT girl.

  6. Seems like a pretty reasonable view of a pretty unreasonable world of Social Media.
