The Evolution Of Web Content Consumption – Infographic

There have been significant innovations and improvements in the way people consume Web content over the years (including TorchBrowser itself, of course) so we thought it would be interesting to chronicle the progression of the way people have consumed content over the last 10 to 15 years, specifically looking at some interesting facts such as:

  • The fact that 5 billion gigabites of data was all of the data generated up until 2003, and currently we generate that amount of data in 10 minutes world wide
  • The fact that downloading a song has gone from an average of 15 minutes to under 30 seconds
  • As well as average internet speeds, the number of people using the Web, and many other interesting facts and figures

We hope you enjoy the graphic, and of course if you find it interesting please share!
